Field Build-up and first parts order
We had our first official meeting at Ryon Today (Rice University).
One of our new mentors, Chris Ehlers helped construct the goals and feeder slots out of plywood. They are definitely the nicest game parts we have ever used in the History of the DiscoBots !
We also cleaned up the concrete blocks on the carpet!
We submitted the 1st of our CAD designs to TMS , the base plate is shown in picture above where yellow lines denote the bends for sheet metal. The shooter consists of two sheet metal plates. The wheels have the ability to be directly driven or alternatively chained from a candelevered sprocket. This design has space incorporated in it for a hopper system for holding the frisbees while they wait to be shot.
