Week 1 Day 3: Design Development

We had our first design and CAD session at Rice University to discuss general robot design and strategy. We determined that we want our robot to be taller than 30" inches to allow for a more direct shot with the goals. Given the limitations on frame perimeter, we are not sure whether we want to aim for a 60" robot height or not.
We decided that linear or 90 degree shooters would be the better choice for our robot (as opposed to a 180 degree design) because of their reduced footprint. We have attached a rough sketch of the robot, showing how the systems might be organized
